Shrove Tuesday

The annual pancake races were held on The Grove in Ilkley this morning. There were some really heavy downpours of rain and the local schoolchildren didn't find it easy. Think this affected the crowds as there is usually a good turnout.
The adult races took place after the children and this is one of the heats, looks a bit like going, going, gone!
