Sooted Plans

Oh dear today's Carnival Parades in Breda and Den Bosch were cancelled due to the storm alert that was given ~ ofcourse Carnival carried on but no grand parades today. This capture is one of yesterday's in Maastricht... had it had its ride today it might have fallen over.
Added some more of yesterday; 3 young man early in the morning dressed for carnaval and up the bridge Servaes across the river Maas up to the city centre. And him dressed like Amy Whinehouse was thrilled being pictured a few times by me ~ I suppose it happened many more times for him. And a Conchita Wurst in pink about nightfall It was such fun to see all dressed up and enjoying the One Big Theatre of Men !

** the carnivalparades are planned to be held on March 6th, halfway lent and I won't manage that day
