Gates

This photograph shows a detail of some lovely wrought iron gates on a church I passed today.  I have photographed this before but the light has to be bright enough to highlight the metal but not make the background too light or else the gates will not stand out.  I did consider converting it to black and white but I think the warm colour of the steps makes the pattern stand out better.
