The most beautiful teaching boards

I was ahead of time yesterday, and wrote to my blip entry that it's Shrove Tuesday! Indeed, today is Tuesday. And Emma had green pea soup at school. Emma has a three day resting period without basketball practises. I met her at the city centre in the afternoon and went to a cafe to buy a laskiaispulla for Emma. (This video shows how to bake laskiaispulla) Then we walked to The Finnish Labour Museum Werstas. One of the exhibitions was a theme exhibition about the most beautiful teaching boards. (Today's blipfoto is one of the boards, three more pictures in the extras). Schoolchildren in Finland in the beginning of 20th century were taught by illustrated teaching boards how was the nature in foreign countries, what were made in factories and how was the landscape in Finland. (The teaching boards exhibition is open till 14th February.) Then I had an workout date with hubby in the fitness club, while Emma spent time at shops and a library.

It rained all day.

+3°C, rainy
