Bryophytes

Thanks to an Orange County Native Plant Society field trip focused on Bryophytes, I now know a bunch more about something I had never heard of, but had seen many times in nature.  

Bryophytes are non-vascular land plants like mosses and liverworts.  On our walk we saw many different mosses and I think a liverwort or two.
