Hockeytown

Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, MI.  Home of the Detroit Red Wings (for now).  A new arena is under construction a little way up Woodward Avenue.  Tonight though it was hockey time at the Joe as the Wings beat the Florida Panthers 3-0.  Every time I go to a game I wish I had my camera so tonight I toted it along.  I didn't have plans to shoot a card full or anything, but a few shots would have been nice.  This is about as far as I got.  JLA restricts camera lenses to 80mm max, so my 18-135mm kit lens got me DQ'd right inside the door.  Had to check the camera and pick it up after the game, even though the same rig has taken pics inside Comercia Park and Ford Field!
