Birthday Tea

It's my youngest nephew's 24th birthday today. I'm very proud of him because as well as being a kind, funny, hardworking young man, he is also brave. Last year he 'came out' to his father, my brother, with absolutely no idea how his Dad would react. To his credit, my brother (who had absolutely no clue previously) made sure first and foremost to tell his son that he loved him. And then he tried to readjust his head to the new future that had appeared.

Tonight I am having moussaka and salad for tea, washed down with a nice wee G&T. I've got a big pot of Scotch Broth simmering away on the hob, and I am just going to settle down in front of The Bridge, which I downloaded. G is working up in Aberdeenshire tonight, so me and The Rocketed have the place all to ourselves. What a shame I have to work tomorrow :-(
