Phil the Macaw

Phil out enjoying some quality time with his chickens and his boy, my son, Geoff. Taken in infrared with the Geoff-built camera. Phil has quite a gleam in his eye. He was in a super mood, which had the roosters worried. Taken about 10:30 am with a severe clear blue sky. Phil is a blue and gold macaw. Birds can see at this wavelength and quite a way into the ultraviolet also. They have much better vision than we do. No flash.
