Vienna Blipmeet

After our arrival in Vienna, with only a few free hours this afternoon, Husband and I dashed off to the Fine Arts Museum.  We had been cooped up in a bus for 4 hours, so I was dying to get some fresh air and didn’t feel I had the bandwidth for a speed tour of a mega art collection so we parted ways and I took a brisk walk around that area of town while he went to the museum. Of course I wanted to take some photos while there was still plenty of light.   

When he went off to the orchestra’s rehearsal and concert, I had the great pleasure of meeting up with our very own blipper, DollyKGray.  We had some delicious Austrian wine and food, and she filled me in on the ways of Austria, while I enjoyed the familiarity of her Aussie accent which reminds me so much of my sister and mother. I wish we had more time and I felt honored that she would make such an effort to come see me.  Of course, she is my blip for today. 

I believe it is remarkable Blipfoto phenomenon that when you meet another blipper, you feel like you are meeting an old friend.  It has happened to me time and time again. I am sure many of you know  exactly what I am talking about.
