Village “Cage or Lock-up-House”
I was on the school run this afternoon and as I was a little early for my first pick up I wandered round the Green at Harrold viewing the old buildings. Today’s blip is the old village “Cage or Lock-up-House” built around 1824. By the 1890’s the parish used the building to store “Lamps and Oil”. The thatched, white house behind it is called The Old Court House. Whether it ever was a Court House I've not yet been able to discover.
