Man at work

Our 104 year old gable has been in need of repair for sometime. I didn't like the weeds that were growing out of the pointing but got the deaf ear. However thanks to some dampness inside and my persistence a man finally started work today. I was apprehensive when I was told stones needed to come out and be replaced. Given the chimney has also a wee shift to it I really didn't know what to expect. However it's looking good so far.
Just need to hope the gull doesn't decide he needs to shelter from the rain tonight!
