Met a friend for coffee this morning, hadn't seen her for a while so it was grand to have a catchup. She told me about one of her ancestors...a child who was washed ashore from a Russian wreck in the 1730s. The sternpost of the ship had the place name "Archangel" on it, so the child, who couldn't tell his name, was given the name Archie Angel, and was brought up by a childless couple.
From a pleasant morning, the weather turned cold, wet and windy in the afternoon, so I just took some quick snaps of snowdrops on the drive.
