Tulip on fire

This tulip is still in the windowsill and this morning there was just the right amount of filtered light on it (weather's still overcast) to make all the details visible. Higher ISO than I would usually use, but I'm getting the hang of using ISO as an exposure plus point thanks to the A Year With My Camera Course. For once there is no editing at all, apart from having cropped the image a wee bit, yay :-) I do realise I could make the colours glow a little more, but it's now very much on my screen the way I see it in my window sill !
