That time of year again
The house 'dressed' for her outing with the estate agent (again). What a sweat but The Principal was well pleased on her return with my efforts. It won't take long to be back to 'normal'.
The flowers are Alstroemeria (named by Linnaeus after his mate the Swedish baron Clas Alströmer 1736 – 1794) but they are from South America and sometimes known as the 'Pervuian Lily' (although they come mainly from Chile - winter growing - and Eastern Brazil - summer growing.
The painting is Skye from the Knoydart (Cnòideart) Peninsula by Shazia Mahmood.
Give me a shout if you want a link to the estate agent. We've dropped the price (again).
PS A 1 bedroom cottage on Orkney came through on one of our many 'alerts'. Tucked at the bottom were the words, '*Scenic images are generic*'.
