Old Brick Wall

Its interesting what catches your eye when you are out on a walk and looking for a photo.  Today once the rain had stopped I wandered out to the beach and estuary passing an old brick wall.  At several points along its length these metal plates had been added.  I assume they are strengthening plates.  I found there shape and textures worthy of a blip.
