AT THE WESER

No matter what the weather would be today, we promised each other to
go out for a walk.
It rained, it was dark, but that did not stop us.
We took the path above the railway, always nice for a change, went through the tunnel and along the Weser back. At some point the river had risen, but not as high that our path was flooded.
The sheep at the meadow had climbed the slope to be safe, or so they thought. why not put an extra photo to show them?
We came home, satisfied and tired.

My haiku:

Ducks swim stream upwards
Looking for nicer places
And better food too

And the proverb:

The first dish pleases all.
