Hibearnian in The Woods

Making Done!

The Little Girl's crèche has closed for the summer and so she's at home all day, every day until she starts school in August 29. Compounding matters she's currently getting over a (thankfully) mild case of chickenpox.

We've already established that the Little Girl is a bit of an artist so the pressure is really on the Art Director to keep her amused. There's an undersea mobile under construction, but today's big project was to make an owl.

Job done!

As an aside the book featured in this blip was one of the little girl's favourites for a good long time. It's all about three owl babies who wake up one night to find their 'owl mother' has gone. I can't help myself. Every time I read it I develop a strong Dublin accent and 'owl mother becomes 'aul mother', which isn't too bad in of itself. Except the babies are named Sarah, Percy and Bill. Sarah and Bill don't sound too bad, but Percy? In a Dublin Accent?
