.......another donation..........

Nice day today........so I did something nice.
Colleagues and pupils where I used to work raised £680 for the Hospice........I rounded it up to £700 and took it along today.

I also took a selection of chocolate mini eggs for the staff of the in patients unit where Helen spent her last few weeks..........creme eggs, rolo eggs etc.

The  nurses,  the doctor, greeted me so warmly they asked how I was doing..........how the S & H and the Daughter are coping...........how Charlie and Hannah are........they made me coffee....we spent a good half an hour together........they were delighted with the donation.......and they knew I'd made a big donation from the funeral collection........and the clothes and the bed donation..........it was like I was part of the family. I can't speak highly enough of them all.

I also can't speak highly enough of the pupils and school staff for raising so much money.....it's a pity that those tossers at Ofsted don't ever see this type of thing when they are making judgements on schools.......it isn't just about exam results......it's also about producing well rounded individuals with a social conscience!
