Crescent
As I came out of work I saw a mottled grey moon rising from a darkening blue-gold sky left behind by the sunset. I couldn't quite believe what I was seeing and didn't have my camera with me so I kept my eye on it as much as possible as I cycled home. There it was, at the end of every side-turning, still visible. At home I grabbed my camera, hoping it would be able to see something of what I could see. It couldn't, quite, but I'm impressed at the memento it managed.
A better memento than any I might have had for the rest of my day, which I should have left behind long, long before sunset.
I wasn't the only one. And here is something like the sky.
