A scorchio day

Blimey, 9 hours sleep! I can't remember the last time that happened, probably this time last year. Red hot first thing too and a little heat haze as we looked towards can picafort from our balcony.

Down to the beach and straight into the sea first thing for a long swim. Read 3 papers including the local Majorcan paper, interesting to read how in Palma they are starting fining cyclists who listen to music whilst cycling!

Nice afternoon beers down at soli verge, then back to the sea for another round of 10 and out...Matt wins again.

Stayed on the beach past five and it was still hot, though a little cloud.

Home and cuppa tea, shower. Out for a meal tonight at sol, and this picture is of my starter, which I ate nearly all of! It's fritto Mallorcan, peas, beans, onion, potato and tiny pieces of liver, beaut. Top red wine too, chilled as they always do here.

Great food and another fab day and night. Now the usual on the balcony
