Day 1 - Gather #rethinkphoto #rethinkchurch

So Lent is here again.  I will again try again this year to maintain a photo journal for the 40 days.  There is a list of "topics" for each day.

The dark clouds gather.  

Currently it feels like the bright sunny days are all behind and the dark clouds are all that is in front of me. 

I did venture out for a walk today and took in some sunshine.  Only a couple of miles but a good heart pumping steep hill.

I also dropped by to see a good friend and her grandchildren.  They were pleased to see me.  I helped a little with some reading and it struck me that I don't think I've ever done that before.  Not being involved with children I have missed out on that.  Great to see how they guess random words when they can't work out how to say one on the page. 

Made sure the kids didn't see I wasn't on usual top form.
