Wild Orchid

Two years ago a bird must have dropped a seed into one of my rose pots along side the fence. Last year one little wild orchid appeared growing between the rose stems. This year to my amazement it has produced more flowers from the same seed.
My book tells me that it is the Spotted Palmate Orchis/ orchis maculate. Such a pretty flower close up. I feel it was a gift to me from the many little birds I have fed throughout the winters.
