San Sebastion, La Gomera

We took a sail today over to the island of La Gomera.

La Gomera is the second smallest of the seven main Canary Islands, where Christopher Columbus made his last port of call before crossing the Atlantic in 1492, to replenish his crew's food and water supplies.

La Gomera is one of the less known of the Canary Islands and not at all developed for tourism. Here is a typical street at the end of which stands the Church of the Virgen of the Assumption.
