Hunstanton beach
What a fantastic day. Chris, Clover and I went to Hunstanton for the day and we had a fabulous walk all along the beach in glorious sunshine. These bits of wood are called groynes and dissipate the energy of the waves at high tide. We learnt something new today had never heard of groynes before.
We had a lovely lunch and then went to the Norfolk Lavender farm, there were so many species of Lavender far more than we ever expected. The journey home took a lot longer than going, I went the wrong way in Peterborough even though I was following the sat nav --- it's not always clear which way to go. I think the detour kept us away from a traffic jam and being stuck at the back of stationary traffic.
