Is it a special day soon...

...nah, it's already been one! 
We left yesterday's birthday boy in Gareth's after we'd had a coffee, peacefully reading the paper and waiting to meet up with another friend to have a refill. 
Meanwhile big sis & I set off on the bus to Newcastle, armed with bags, credit cards and a list each... and we had a very successful day, thank you very much! Good job I took this shot at coffee time though - no chance afterwards amongst the furniture browsing, shirt buying, toys for grandkids appraising, coffee & cake munching and slipper finding...
