Rays of Sunshine

It's been gloomy in this house week so today's sunshine was welcome.  On Monday our boiler broke down.  It's an old back boiler which our local gas engineer told us might last five years or so if we kept it serviced.  That was 23 years ago!  So now we await the fitting of a modern boiler - next week.  Add in a minor problem with a car and my laptop taking a dive from a worktop .... it's not been our week so far!

The laptop is at the laptop hospital and all should be back to normal by the end of next week .... and then it'll be just one more week until my mini-break in the mountains :-)  It's good to have something to look forward to ... I just need to stop tripping over the things in between!

Narcissus eugeniae .... or at least that's what the label says.  It's a lovely soft sulphur yellow, much paler that some of it's brash cousins.
