Stormy Monday

Hey ho - the weather forecasters got it right today!! It's rained persistenly since last night and the wind and rain have gradually intensified during the day which has caused some problems around the region. Glad to say there doesn't appear to be any major damage - just a bit of flooding in my garage and a very wet garden. No doubt we'll hear tomorrow how the region as a whole has fared.

I took a drive down to the beach - the same, usually placid beach as yesterday's shot! - to see some storm action. Gee, there are some adrenalin junkies here! Out there playing in the surf was this windsurfer, a surfer, a sea kayaker and 2 swimmers. Cray-zeee!!!
