Cultural Brooklyn

Brooklyn proved to be a good destination for a spontaneously cultural Saturday today. After the weekly spinning, yoga and house hold chores, Marten and I headed out to the Brooklyn Museum to catch its photo exhibition on Coney Island before it closes next month - I can really recommend it. After that, we had a lovely stroll in the area, which really feels more Parisian than NY! Via a vegan Malaysian restaurant we made it to BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music) movie theater, where we attended a screening of this year's oscar nominated shorts. Heavy, but good; nominations well-deserved!
