Hockey or Butterfly? Butterfly or Hockey?

Yikes! We are enjoying the Sabres Development Camp and I got a fairly good photo of the three promising prospects that everyone is hoping are going to pan out, but....

Not everyone loves hockey.

So....this beautiful Swallowtail sitting so beautifully on pink Phlox near the Mount Morris Dam had to be my Blip du jour.

Husband and I went for a bit of a drive and wound up on the side of the dam opposite Letchworth Park. We had never been to this side before, and it was fascinating. There was a visitor's center with all manner of information regarding the dam.

As we went into the center, this butterfly was dancing about from flower to flower and the colors just screamed! for me to photograph the lovely butterfly and flowers!
