H is for Huge: Saturn V rocket ...

...Kennedy Space Station.

I always followed the space race as a child, but to visit Cape Kennedy and see the size of the Sturn V rocket was unbelievable - it weighs the same as 7 Jumbo jets, and is as high as two statue of liberties!

To see the building that assembled it is equally impressive, the biggest single storey building in the world, and the 4th biggest building by volume in the world, with doors over 500 feet high!

Everything about Cape Kennedy is huge, amazing, fascinating and mind blowing. No wonder the Americans have such national pride in the place.
