Venice - Basilica di San Marco

Every year Vivien and I take turns to surprise each other with a trip away for our anniversary - Vivien's turn this year. We got the train from Sheffield towards Manchester, I had no idea where we were going. We got off at the airport, my passport was produced, we got to the plane - and THEN I found out that we were off to Venice.

I was quite overwhelmed as we made our way along the Grand Canal into the city.  What a very lucky chap I am.
