Little Walsingham
Great and Little Walsingham are two adjacent villages in Norfolk and are the site of pilgrimage since 1061 when Richeldis de Faverches, a saxon noblewoman, had a vision of the Virgin Mary during which she was instructed to build a replica of the house of the holy family in Nazareth.
The lady with her case helps set the scene.
