Trip to the Tip

Retirement brings many opportunities. One of the most fun is the chance to start sorting through 35+ years-worth of junk which has accumulated when we claimed that we didn't have time to deal with it! After all, there were more pressing priorities when we had busy jobs and 3 offspring to bring up!

After over 2 years of retirement already (doesn't time fly when you're having blipping fun?) we've decided that we really must make a start. So this was the first trip to the tip.

(We're also helping my Dad to move into sheltered accommodation in the next few weeks, so after loading our junk into the car (as seen here) we called at his current flat to collect yet more.)

This won't be the last trip, although the next one will probably be to the charity shop rather than the tip, with some of the better stuff (especially books).
