A great film lat night - Spotlight - and one that deserves to be seen. Not a very edifying subject but a true story about The Boston Globe uncovering the scale of child abuse amongst Catholic priests in the city in 2001. For once journalists came over well,  as they uncovered more and more incidents, all covered up and colluded with by other prominent members of society and the Church. Presented in an sensationalised but hard hitting way with some remarkable performances. recommended.

Another entry in the Blog this morning, a little clearing up in the garden and then I've just had a very enjoyable early supper with two friends in Bantry - ex-colleagues. We ate huge pizzas and caught up with all the news. This was the scene as I drove in. Yup, I just had to leap out of the car. That's four nights out in a row - I need a weekend off! Have a good one.
