Barron Falls

Long day today, got picked up at hotel at 7.30am. Taken to Cairns Station and caught the Kuranda Scenic Railway to Kuranda. A 2 hour train journey in old carriages through some spectacular scenery. Once in Kuranda transferred to the rainforestation, a trip on the army duck, very cool, taught how to throw a boomerang (surprisingly we both did pretty well), a lesson on how to play the digeridoo (Olly was the star) and a demo on spear throwing, wasn't allowed to try that one for some reason.
Lunch followed by wildlife tour, from which Olly was presented with the tooth from Jack the Croc which the keeper had just fished out of his pen, braver man than most!
This was all rounded off by a return trip on the Sky rail, skimming over the rainforest for about 8km.

So difficult to chose a blip, but predictably went for waterfalls.
