The Croft

This is The Croft farmhouse where I have been volunteering for the past month and am leaving tomorrow. Learnt how to prune apple trees today and apparently Mike (from Eva's organics) said he will pay me! Actual money!

The extra's are the walled veg garden I have been working on. I wish I took a 'before' photo, but basically you can see all the patches that I have dug over and weeded.

 I planted garlic in  the bed next to the one covered over with white fleece, sorted out the fruit cage (lots of digging, weeding, pruning and manuring) and planted Jerusalem artichokes behind the fruit cage.
