Shetland 5 Herma Ness

Herma Ness is the northern tip of Unst, the northernmost inhabited island in the British Isles. It was misty but we could still see the lighthouse on Muckle Flugga and Out Stack beyond it, the real northernmost point.
Through the mist and rain we got fantastic close-up views of gannets, puffins and lots of bonxies (great skuas) hanging out on the moorland - eyeballing us but not getting aggressive.
