Then there will be apples

Well eventually.

The sun shone briefly and Murphy and I went for a walk around the garden.

We topped up the bird feeders.  Either the birds had been having a party or ratty has managed to work out how to get past the squirrel baffles.

The additional photo is a wonderful surprise.  My other Christmas roses are green so this one is delightful.

While working hard I decided to throw some ingredients into the bread machine and make a loaf.  Its turned out well.

And because I have too many vegetables I am going to throw some into a slow cooker and make some soup over night. I can cook but I don't like being in the kitchen for too long.
