The Yellow Line

Next week was to be a winter break week (and President’s day) for Seattle public schools but that was cut to 2 days due to the strike in September.    The plan was for our son and his family to be here for the long weekend but work schedules somehow didn't work out, so we are all alone and missing them and that granddog!… (but we will manage :-) )  In spite of the forecast of rain for the whole next week, today was quite nice....

Looked for “Yellow” for the blip challenge… not the right time of year for much yellow here, too soon for flowers or goldfinches…. the floating crab trap line stood out and I just added the yellow butterfly from the garden for fun.
