New..................

............Standard, new Logo, new Initiative.

I was able to attend the launch today of the new RTITB Driver Training Standard.

This is a new initiative which, I quote "is a high profile, audit-based approval system relating to (LGV) instructors, vehicles and premises, backed up by training materials, resources and support for the LGV training industry." 

In other words, improving the Road Transport Industry from driver training upwards.

It was good to catch up with colleagues and people I have had the privilege to train over a number of years and also to see the presentation of the first DTS approval to Terry Rose, from Denby Transport. Denby have had contacts with RTITB for a long time now and I have known Terry for almost as long, or so it seems.
