Purple Hellebore

The purple hellebore flowers early each year and seems to thrive in the deep shadows beneath our beech hedge.  It seems to thrive on neglect and tough conditions and hence does well in our garden.

I am off on another of my photographic adventures tomorrow and will be out of communication for a couple of weeks.  I shall be backblipping on my return.
