Stations of the cross

I am stood in the entrance to a local church, waiting for Mia and her friend who are delivering the readings for the 'stations of the cross'.

It is something very familiar to me, I went to catholic primary, secondary and college. But what I am really impressed at is that the girls happily volunteer for such tasks. They see it as something helpful to do for their guiding troop.

I think I went to Brownie's once, I remember my mum collecting me and I was adamant I wasn't going ever again. Weirdly it was all their rituals that put me off. Now coming from a catholic upbringing that is an odd thing to be put off by.
