Spring on the glazed-in-balcony

Our first Iris this year - so lovely to see it!

Weather is colder again - and the very think snow cover seems so stay for a bit. We took the commuter train to Solna and walked down to Råstasjön today, to look for the over-wintering water rail. Luckily we found it, together with a few robins and chaffinces. In the open water we saw a few tufted ducks, two mute swans - and of course loads of mallards and coots.
