Radishes!

Well that's what some folks saw in the furled buds of Oxalis versicolor which I showed last month.  Here it is with some flowers fully open.  When well grown, the open flowers completely obscure the foliage leaving just a dome of flowers in view .... a feat I managed once or twice in past years, years when we had a cold winter which kept the growth compact and delayed the flowering.  In most years this will be in flower around Christmas when grown in a frost free greenhouse.
