Duchess of Hamilton

Today's the day ........................ to spot the mouse

This print of the Duchess of Hamilton  hangs in the Carnforth Railway Heritage Centre - where I was on duty today.

The LMS Class 6229 Duchess of Hamilton was designed by Sir William A Stanier and built in 1938 at Crewe Locomotive Works.  This is a painting by Railway artist Terence Cuneo - who included a tiny mouse on all his paintings.  We ask visitors to the Centre to see if they can find it.

It is well hidden - and not in a place where you would expect to find such a creature.  So I've given you a clue down below ..........................
