Geography

When I was a child, one of my favourite series of books was about a girl called Milly Molly Mandy. She lived in a village with her parents and grandparents, and near to her best friends Billy Blunt and little-friend-Susan. The stories were about their adventures in the countryside. One of the things I especially liked, was the map of the village inside the cover of each book. It showed all the important places mentioned in the stories. I still love maps to this day - especially hard copy paper maps that you can unfold so you can get a big view of how things relate to one another.

A wet day outside so I was mainly inside, painting the kitchen and listening to the radio.
