Fabulous Victoria Gallery & Museum, Liverpool

What a wonderful place ... It is a gem of a building (by Waterhouse) with a really fabulous 'cabinet of curiosities' collection - from Elizabeth Frink to Lucian Freud ... and from Cunard posters to Audebon (sp?) natural history paintings ... and let's not forget the beautiful ceramics, sculptures and gruesome dental instruments. That's just for starters ... Can you tell I was impressed? Alovely thing to do on a chilly February Saturday. Does this make you think of an Escher drawing? Oh, just me then!!!
