We spent the morning at the beach, walking along the lovely warm sand, both thinking how good it would be to live by the sea.  It was a beautiful West Coast day, with the sun shinning and a lovely sea breeze making the temperature that wee bit more easier to deal with.  After our walk, we sat in our van and had lunch watching the world go by.  We didn't want to go home, but of course we had to.

We headed away at 2pm, stopping at the Lyell Recreation Area for afternoon tea.  It was packed......and hot, 30 degrees.  We had our drink, a wee walk along the Lyell walkway, and then headed home.  It wasn't any cooler there - 31 degrees.  Just too hot.  Hopefully the rain that is forecast for the middle of the week will arrive and cool the place down.
