A jug, a bowl, a candle

Did a baptism today.  They are always enjoyable.  However, it is obvious how many people don't usually go to church and don't know what to expect.  They hang around nervously outside and hesitantly come in, some definitely looking uncomfortable.

My favourite is when I am standing next to the large stone font and they ask, "Where is the baptism going to be, up there?" and wave their hands to the other end of the church.

The proud parents, beaming grandparents and godparents made it a lovely time.  The baby being baptised today was as good as gold, a nice little chap. God bless them all.
