It was the snow wot done it.

In dutifully recording my race time for another year, it turns out this year's Carnethy 5 was only my 4th fastest. At West Kip I was only a few seconds off PB territory, but that had slipped to a minute by the time I reached the Howe. I lost another 2 minutes on the climb up Carnethy and just about matched last year's descent to bring me in 3 minutes down. I blame the snow. It couldn't be me, surely? ;-)
